Caseificio Longo among the locations of the film Stessi Battiti
At our headquarters in Bosconero, in the heart of the Canavese area, we produce the cheeses with which we export Piedmontese dairy excellence throughout Italy and around the world every day, with the same passion we have put into it for over seventy years.
We would not have imagined, however, that it could also have been one of the locations where Same Battiti was shot, a film by director Roberto Gasparro that will be released this spring. But it really happened! Stessi Battiti is a children's film that tells the story of Federico, a seventeen-year-old young man who studies, works and trains hard to realize his dream of becoming a professional cyclist. He forms a makeshift team with Rossella, his mechanic, and Claudio Chiappucci, the former professional cyclist who will help Federico in the last days of training, also comes to their aid.
The cast of the film is of the highest level: Gianni Parisi, Franco Barbero, Luciana Nigro, Stefania De Francesco, Michele Franco, Simone Moretto, Mauro Tarantini, Riccardo Fiorio, Vittoria Chiolero and Francesco Isasca. Without forgetting the extraordinary participation of the former professional cyclist Claudio Chiappucci and the winner of the '62 and '63 Italian Tours Franco Balmanion. Directed, as we had already mentioned, by Roberto Gasparro, for the music of Carmine Padula and Edoardo Caiazza and the production of the 35mm.
A film that therefore speaks of a dream of a young man who starts from afar, fueled by a healthy and genuine passion. Just like our story which, which started in 1950, saw Antonio Longo start his business together with his wife Franca in a small family workshop where only one product was produced, Tomino del Canavese.
Waiting for the distribution of Stessi Battiti, therefore, we are already very happy: not only for having hosted some shots of the film, but also for having supported it as a sponsor.
