The Anuga fair, which was held from 9 to 13 October in the ultra-modern Koelnmesse plant in Cologne, Germany, met with great success, both for exhibitors and for the public, which demonstrated how it is possible to organize a large event in presence also in this period immediately following the restrictions for Covid-19.

As we announced in the previous news, we at Caseificio Longo were there! And we presented, in the Buon Gusto Italiano stand dedicated to cheeses, a selection of Piedmontese dairy excellence through our products, from the whole range of Tomino del Boscaiolo in its new green pack to tomini in oil, from our traditional tomino to Royal Seirass.

The numbers speak for themselves: there were over 4,600 exhibitors (from 98 different countries) whose stands were visited during the four days of the fair by over 70,000 people from 169 different countries.

Important figures, which demonstrate how Anuga has “successfully accompanied the world of food fairs out of the lockdown. We must continue to walk the path of the evolution of our food production and distribution system, "said Firedhelm Dornseifer, president of BVLH, the German association of food retailers.

We agree with him, and precisely in this sense all the measures in support of the environment that we implement every day in the production and distribution of our products go: from the aforementioned green packs (completely recyclable and produced with 50% less plastic) to the commitment to bring the use of polystyrene to zero by 2025.
